Our first honeymoon trip to Darjeeling felt like stepping into a dream. The cool mountain air, scented with pine & tea leaves, welcomed us as the toy train chugged through mist-covered hills. We stayed in cozy guest house of Bose Institute (Darjeeling campus) that overlooked the valley, where mornings began with golden sunrises over Kanchenjunga. Hand in hand, we explored the winding lanes of the Mall Road, sipped on steaming cups of Darjeeling tea & stole quiet moments in the lush gardens of the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Every moment felt magical—like time had slowed down just for us.
